About

I am a Munich-based photographer and videographer; in addition to photography, I practice creative writing.

I aim to capture the beauty of the moment, whether it is filled with joy or tinged with melancholy. My inspiration comes from traveling and getting to know different people and cultures. As an expat myself (I was born in Moscow), I am very curious about the stories of people who moved out of their home countries and changed their lives.

My area of interest is event, portrait, street, and documentary photography. Besides photography, I have directed a few short films and conducted interviews for a documentary photobook.

Just a little fun fact at the end: I actually studied biology. This background formed my vision, helped me see life in detail, understand light, and learn how to develop film. I have mastered both digital and analog photography, although my heart always stays with the latter; I find a certain magic in the way film interprets reality.

Welcome to my world.
